A Counterfeit Gospel?

I watched a very famous preacher being interviewed awhile ago on television. When the topic of sin came up, the preacher said, “I never talk about sin. I never use the word sin, because people already know they are sinners. I am not here to beat people down. I just want to lift them up.”

However, I don’t think that most people know they are sinners. And our job is not just to lift people up; it is to point them to Christ. So we have to use the word sin.

There is a counterfeit gospel. The apostle Paul wrote to the churches of Galatia, “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel” (Galatians 1:6). Just because someone uses the term gospel doesn’t mean he or she is referring to the genuine gospel. Even if someone claims they are preaching the gospel, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is the real gospel.

For the gospel to be genuine, certain things must be in place. And one of those things is the acknowledgement that everyone has sinned. As 1 John 1:8 says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

The only solution for our sin being removed is the cross. If the cross is not proclaimed, then it is not the gospel. Any proper presentation of the gospel includes the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Paul wrote to the believers at Corinth, “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2).

Whenever there is the genuine, there also will be the counterfeit. And the devil has his fake version of just about everything—even the gospel.

What Was Jesus' Gospel?

Do we really know the real Jesus? Do we really know what He is doing? Are we really preparing ourselves to be accepted and rewarded by Him when He establishes His Kingdom? And what is that Kingdom all about?

"I must preach the kingdom of God...because for this purpose I have been sent" (Luke 4:43)

Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel'" (Mark 1:14-15).

Jesus began His ministry with these words announcing the Kingdom of God. The time He had in mind to be "fulfilled" was probably a reference to the prophecy in Daniel 9:24-25, where it is

said that the Messiah would come 483 years from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem. The year A.D. 27 was when the 483 years specified in the prophecy would end. The year 27 is significant because that is the year Jesus began His ministry. He began preaching the message of the Kingdom of God in Galilee.

As we saw in the last chapter, the people and even Christ's own disciples had many misconceptions about the Messiah and His mission. People still misunderstand today, but in a totally different way. Many fail to realize that the future, world-ruling Kingdom prophesied in so many places in the Old Testament was at the heart of Jesus' message and teaching.

Over the past 80 years, humanity’s spiritual evolution has been accelerating very rapidly. It has brought us to the point where God’s Love, which is currently enveloping humanity, is bringing about sweeping changes in the way in which we relate to one another. And we are about to awaken to the realization that we are all one with each other and one with God.

At the dawning of the year 2013, there will be a significant increase in consciousness as well as a heart opening that will take place simultaneously, for everyone on Earth. This will move humanity out of the first three chakras of the ego, and into the heart. So, immediately, your heart and mind will work together more effectively. At that same time, the rebuilding of the planet will occur.[i] This will allow for the emergence of new systems that are based on God’s principles.

He has given us new birth into a living hope. 1 Peter 1:3

God’s will is for everyone to awaken. But not everyone will awaken to their Divinity in that very same moment.

Those who have chosen to continue living in the illusion for a while longer will suddenly see the world change because corruption, dishonesty, betrayal and conflicts between self-serving individuals and organizations will cease. But they will continue on their journey while they live within the illusion.

Those who choose to awaken to their Divinity will awaken into a wondrous state of euphoria. The contrast will be startling. And it will happen quite suddenly. They will understand that they have the option to experience a brand new and creatively stimulating illusion of intense beauty,

or to continue their ascension to dimensions that are far beyond anything they can possibly imagine in their present state of mind.[ii] Whatever their stage of evolution, the immediate future is going to bring them joy and happiness that is unparalleled!

The energetic movements that occur more rapidly between 2013 and 2020 will provide people with a way to awaken at greater speeds. As the new energy is instilled on Earth, the higher frequency ranges that are aligned with God’s holy energy will actually separate from the lower energy fields. This separation of frequencies will affect their entire perception of reality.

Eventually, the human mind will become a superb tool that will lead to higher intellectual and spiritual functioning. Humanity will clearly witness its own essence being birthed on the Earth. People will be able to see their true frequency range as a beam of light, which is in the form of an infinite DNA spiral that is connected to other worlds through an intricate circuitry of these same light beams.

People will merge their human DNA with their Divine DNA. This will occur as a result of a mutation of the genetic codes they currently carry. Every hydrogen-bonded atom in the physical body will become activated through a new DNA that will align all of the cells with the new atmosphere. This will produce a spontaneous multi-dimensional experience of the new reality.[iii]

You’ve been Creating for God for eons (that’s a very long time). It’s now time for you to begin to Create for you.
