PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

Regular preventive maintenance is essential for the trouble free working of any computer

system. It also ensures that its components last well past their rated lives. Unfortunately most

computers AMC have ignored part of PC AMC altogether or at best it in a very cursory manner.

I-Blend Technologies considers preventive maintenance to be most important aspect of itsTHE COMPUTER MAINTENANCE PROGRAM. Each preventive maintenance like

keyboard, CPU, RAM, I/O Ports, Hard Disk Drive, Floppy Disk Drive, CPU speed and systemperformance. Physical check of all sockets mounted SMDs, Connectors and cable for any loose

connections.

y Input power check of for voltage correctness.y Physical cleaning of system interior.y Cleaning of Dot Matrix printer and lubrication of carriage drive and all other moving

parts as per manufactures specification

y Cleaning of printer as well as head / Moving Manual parts to increase head life.y

Regular check of computer for virus scanning.

MAINTENANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PC SYSTEM and all its peripherals should not be moved from installed position without the

knowledge of concerned I-Blend Technologies or his guidance.

Maintenance services will be provided in normal working hours except holidays, response time

will be 3 hours if called up before 10.00 AM and next day if called up after 16.00 PM within citylimit. The services will consist of preventive and corrective maintenance including fitting andsupply of replacement parts.

The contract will cease if any person other than I-Blend Technologies opens the system.The customers has the right to make any changes or attachment to the equipment under AMC,

provided such changes or Attachment does not prevent proper maintenance from beingperformed or unreasonably increase SAB cost of performing repair & maintenance. If any up

gradation or addition is to be made to the systems then it should be done in the presence of a

representative ofI-Blend Technologies and AMC charges will be increased accordingly.

We shall not be responsible for repair of damage or malfunctions of system due to accident, oruse of non-standard electrical power, dust air conditioning, if repaired the customers has to bear

the cost of spares.

Replacement of All Parts (all spares), consumables parts like ribbon printer head, floppies, keyswitches & tops, hard disk media, CRT, cabinet, Adaptor, Plastic Parts, CD-Tape head/ lenses/

scanner unit/any type of magnetic Media etc. Shall be charged extra as they are not coveredunder any type of AMC Agreement (AMC with Parts or AMC without Parts) in laser DMP

printer & desk jet printers spares and scanners spares will be charged extra. In Line drivers andDump terminal spares will be extra.

Customers will Hand over the system in perfect working conditions to I-Blend

Technologies. Who in turn will Hand over the system in prefect working conditions tocustomers at the time of termination of contract? AMC will cover only electronic parts of

Computer Device not any plastic or metal parts.

Initially AMC will be undertaken for the machines in OK conditions and if any repair requiredbefore commencement of AMC, shall be done at customers cost i.e. ONE TIME REPAIR-

REPORT (OTR-REPORT) before AMC undertaken system will be checked and repair oncustomer cost, Above AMC contract valid for hardware only, if software support required apart

from operating system, will charged extra.

If any major crashed in computer system due to virus attack will not covered under AMC Repairand damage cost will be paid by customer.
