    I and My States

    (a) Wakeful State

-- Wakeful Awareness with Lifefulness or Aliveness (knowing and experiencing

through the body/mind and the instruments of experience in the wakeful space/timeof experiencing with a sense of warmth in the functioning body and brain. There is

also a processing of experiencing and a need to appropriate and interpret elements

of the experiencing by the continuous activity of thought, especially the I-thought.)

    (b) Dream State

-- Dreamful Awareness (knowing and experiencing of the events, objects, entities

and experiences emerging from memory in the dream space/time of experiencing.

There is a processing of the elements of the dream and a constant chattering of

thoughts without the need to appropriate and interpret the mentally fabricated

experiences. Thus the I-thoughts presence and interference is rather blurred,

arising only in case of great fear, as a defensive reflex.)

    (c)

    Sleep State

-- Sleepful Lifefulness without awareness as the mind and other instruments of

experience are held in abeyance in the sleepful space/time of experiencing. There is

no experiencing of the world, of the I-thought, of time, space, aliveness, awareness,

and mental activity. Only lifeful activities go on according to their own set patterns

    and conditions.

    (d) Mindful State

-- Mindful Awareness with Lifefulness or Aliveness and Wholeness in the mindful

space/time of experiencing. The mindful state is very close to all three states but

with some major differences. It is as if, in some sense, one is awake, asleep and

dreaming at the same time. There is pure awareness without the interference of the

intellectual centre of I-thought with the actual moment to moment experiencing as

usually happens during wakefulness, without sensory or mental withdrawal as in

sleep, without identification with anything in particular and constant labelling as in

wakefulness, without loss of contact with the wakeful universe as in sleep and dream.

It is also quite similar to the dream state in that there is no identification with the

instruments of the body/mind complex: there is a free flowing of everything in that

passively witnessing space and time. It is also quite similar to the sleep state in that

there is a deep state of relaxation without any duality in consciousness, without

fragmentation in experiencing. It is also quite similar to the wakeful state with a

    sense of aliveness and awareness.

However, the mindful awareness state, which is the meditative state of sensitivity

and attention, is a very subtle state of being: a space of Lifefulness, Awareness,

Wholeness in moment to moment time of experiencing. It is the fourth state of

being, which is Lifefulness or Aliveness, Lightfulness or Awareness, and

Delightfulness or Wholeness. It requires great sensitivity, maturity, passion and

intelligence to connect to the fourth state of being.

The PATH is - Passionate Attention To Herenow.

The METHOD is - M indfully Experiencing The Herenow Outside Duality.

The GOAL is - Growth to ones full potential

    - Oneness of Life

    - Aliveness to truth

    - Liberation from the illusion of division.
