LOCATION AND ACCESS

The c l a ims a r e l o c a t e d in an area l i e i n g t o t h e south-eas$

of Enderby, B.C. They can be reached by an a l l weather road which

branches off t h e Mabel Lake Road f o u r miles e a s t of Enderby, and then

proceeds south f o r a d i s t a n c e of n i n e miles along what is known a s

t h e T r i n i t y b a d . A t t h i s p o i n t a f o r e s t r y road i s taken t o t h e e a s t

up Oleen Creek f o r two miles t o t h e Peacher C l a i m s . The a r e a is

wi th in t h e Vernon Kining Divis ion of B r i t i s h Columbia.

Co-ordinates: 118O 9' w e s t , 50' 30' n o r t h

GEOLOGY

Good outcrops a r e very r a r e i n t h e Oleen Creek Area of

t h e T r i n i t y H i l l s . Samples taken from t h e road cu t i n t h e claim a r e a

showed i n t e r e s t i n g amounts of copper. Low grade metamorphic rocks

( p h y l l i t e s , q u a r t z i t e s , limestones, and i n t r a f o n n a t i o a l conglomerate,

etc. ) of t h e Honashee Group a r e genera l ly present i n t h e a rea a s

a r e T e r t i a r y vo lcan ic s and sediments. The presence of t h e s e rock types

sugges ts t h e p o s s i b i l i t y of con tac t metasomatic t ype and vein type

copper occurrences i n t h e area. SAKPLING PROCEDURE

The l o c a t i o n l i n e a s shown on t h e enclosed geo-chem map #2

runs south t o n o r t h f o r 2,000 f t , L a t e r a l s have been run o r are proposed

a t 200 f t , i n t e r v a l s , t o t h e e a s t and w e s t of t h e l o c a t i o n l i n e t o form

a 2,000 by 2,000 f t . gr id . The g r i d is l oca t ed on t h e claims Nomad and

Martak, a s shom on t h e index map # 1.

Samples were taken a t 25 f t , i n t e r v a l s along t h e l a t e r a l s a s

shown on t h e g r i d map # 2. All samples were taken f r o m t h e B zone a t a

depth of 8 t o ' 12 inches, Samples taken i n swampg a r e a s were taken from

t h e c l a y s and g r a v e l s a t t h e b a s e of t h e peat. All samples were assayed

a t Laring Laboratories Ltd, located in Calgary A l t a . An 80 mesh was

used w i t h all samples. The a n a l y s i s was done by h o t a c i d d i g e s t i o n and

atomic abso rp t ion spectroscopy. The sampling was done by Cry1 and Edward

Peacher. Standard geo-chem bags uere used a s supplied by Loring

Labora to r i e s Ltd, of Calgarg. All bags were marked and t i e d a t t h e

sample loca t ion . All a s s a y s uere paid f o r by Qrl Peacher,

The l o c a t i o n l i n e was e s t a b l i s h e d and t h e sampling done

a long t h e l a t e r a l s dur ing t h e per iod from Ju ly 16th t o July 28, f o r

a t o t a l of 10 working days for two men. 9600 f t . of l i n e was

sampled a t 25ft . i n t e r v a l s , Assays were done f o r both copper and

zinc.

CONCLUSIONS AND REC OKMENDAT I ONS

The geo-chem survey shows in PPM readings of over 40 times

t h e background norm of 24.6 f o r copper, 400 ft . no r th of t h e o r i g i n a l

ou tcrop which i s l o c a t e d a t 00 OD t h e g r i d l o c a t i o n line, map # 2.

Thenorth east sec t ion of t h e g r i d shows t h e presence of bo th

copper and z i n c over a 300 f t . width c u t t i n g a c r o s s t h e 1600 E and t h e

1800 L l i n e s 450 ft. e a s t of t h e l o c a t i o n l i n e , and reaching up t o t h e

2,000 ft . E. l i n e a t its' eastern extremity, Although t h e s e readings '

a r e n o t high, ( 2x t o llx i n cu ) t h e wid th is i n t e r e s t i n g , and a

f u r t h e r geochem t o complete t h e g r i d e a s t of t h e l o c a t i o n l i n e could

show a link up w i t h t h e o r i g i n a l ou tc rop a t 00, which would then rake

t h e showing 2,000 f t . long. The r e s u l t s t o d a t e would seem t o i n d i c a t e

t ha t t h e e a s t e r n po r t ion of t h e survey g r i d be completed, so a more

r e a l i s t i c assessment of t h i s proper ty can be determined.
