Hydraulic press machine is one kind of device used hydraulic oil to deliver pressure, and hydraulic oil delivers
pressure in the sealed container, which is in accordance with Pascal law. Moreover, the delivery system of
hydraulic press consists of dynamic mechanism, control mechanism, implementing mechanism, supporting
mechanism as well as operating media. Dynamic mechanism is generally used volumetric oil pump, so in order
to fulfill the speed requirement of implementing mechanism, operators would select one or several oil pumps. In
the cases of different oil pressures, operators would choose different components, for instance, if oil pressure is
smaller than 2.5MP, they would choose wheel pump, if oil pressure is smaller than 6.3MP, they would select
vane pump, and if oil pressure is at high-pressure level, they would thus choose piston pump. Generally
speaking, hydraulic press refers to hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor, both of them are the energy changing
devices in hydraulic system. The different point is that hydraulic pump would change mechanical energy in
driven motor into pressure energy of oil, so we can regard hydraulic pump as the dynamic device in hydraulic
system, while hydraulic motor changes pressure energy into mechanical energy, so it is the implementing
device in hydraulic system. In addition, the operating principle of hydraulic press is simple. Under the control of
electrical installation, dynamic mechanism would realize the energy transformation, adjustment and delivery
with the help of pump, oil cylinder and varied hydraulic valves, so that various processing cycles can beproperly done. As for the classification of hydraulic press, it can be divided into different types in terms of
different conditions, for instance, based on the delivered pressure, it has oil hydraulic press and water hydraulic
press and single action press. As the total pressure produced by water hydraulic press is relatively large, it is
often used to do the forging and stamping. While forging water hydraulic press can be further divided into mold-
forging typed as well as free-forging typed, that is to say, mold-forging water hydraulic press is used mold, but
free-forging water hydraulic press doesn't use mold. Furthermore, according to the structural forms, it is
classified into four-pole typed, C-shaped typed, horizontal typed as well as vertical typed hydraulic press
and metal stamping presses. What's more, the repair of hydraulic press is of great importance. It is better to
use pressure of hydraulic cylinder to dismantle tight-fit components, for if operators use stick or hammer to
dismantle those parts, which will waste their much energy, and such doing is low efficient and unsafe, and it iseasy to break other parts. While using pressure of hydraulic cylinder will not break components, and it won't
waste energy, more importantly, it is safe and reliable, and it has high installation accuracy.
Hydraulic press is such kind of processing equipment which could send energy through liquid pressure to
achieve pressure process. It is a non-cutting machine for shaping, and its working features: power drive is a
soft kind of drive to avoid machine overloading; driving force with only one straight line is needed during
drawing, which can lengthen the life of processing system and can increase the end product rate. So here we

press There are many kinds of hydraulic press according to working request: there are oil hydraulic

outside vat on top and liquid filling device, etc. And the power structure is composed of oil tank, high pressure
pump, low pressure control system, motor as well as kinds of press valve and direction valve. Through pump,
oil tank and hydraulic valve, the power structure under control of electric could achieve energy exchange,
adjustment, and transmission. Process medium: Not only is the medium used to send pressure, but to ensure
equipment parts to keep smart, stable, longer using time and less leaking. The basic request for the medium: 1.
proper flowing condition and low compression for increasing driving rate; 2. prevent to be rusty; 3. good
lubrication; 4. to be convenient for sealing; 5. keep stable function and good quality during long time using.
Water is used as the medium at the very beginning, and latter emulsified oil is added into water and become
emulsified liquid to increase lubrication and reduce rustiness. Techniques and material for hydro forming: This
kind of forming is also called inner high pressure forming. The basic principle is: we can take pipe as base
material, and exert extra high voltage liquid inside pipe, and at the same time to exert axial thrust for material
charging by both ends of tube blank. Under the combined action of two external forces, tube blank would
appear plastic deformation and would stick with inner side of mould cavity. At last we could get hollow parts
with shape and precision both meeting technique request. Material suits for hydro forming includes: carbon
steel, stainless steel, copper alloy and nickel alloy. Generally speaking, material suits to cooling forming wouldalso suit to hydro forming. This process mainly applies to auto parts plant, thermal treatment plant, gear plant
and air-conditioner fittings plant, etc. Advantages ofhydraulic press Compared with stamping welding, hydro
forming process could: 1. reduce quality and quantity and save material; 2. decrease parts and mould number;
3. decrease following machining and welding; 4. increase intensity and rigidity esp. fatigue strength; 5.
decrease production cost
