HVA45TD – 45kV VLF HV Test System with Tan Delta The HVA45TD with integrated Tan Delta allows testing and diagnostics of medium voltage cables. It performs VLF and DC testing, sheath testing, sheath fault location mode and leakage current correction. Assessments of cable condition can also be carried out by use of Tan Delta Diagnostics. New The recently introduced Managed Withstand Test (MWT), a combination of withstand testing and Tan Delta Diagnostics in compliance with IEEE 400.2-2013, can be performed. Performance The HVA45TD offers outstanding features in terms of size, weight (36 kg) and performance (max. 10 µF). A dry design (no oil inside) makes the instruments nearly maintenance free. Safety The instrument has two independent earthing devices (electronic and mechanical discharging) and an integrated 12 kV feedback protection system to protect both operator and instrument. Transformer Testing

TRT30A True Three-Phase Transformer Turns Ratio Tester TRT30A is a true three-phase, fully automatic test set specially designed for turns ratio, phase shift, and excitation current measurements of power, distribution and instrument transformers. TRT3x determines the transformer turns ratio by applying voltages across high voltage windings, accurately measuring voltages across the unloaded transformer windings, and then displaying the ratio of these voltages. TRT3x is based on a state of the art technology, using the most advanced technique available today. The test set can be used to test single phase and three-phase transformers, both with and without taps in accordance with the requirements of the IEC 60076-1 standard. For a three-phase measurement, the test set is connected to all the three phases of a transformer to be tested. If specific vector diagrams are selected for different types of transformers, the TRT3x will run a specific test for each transformer type (i.e., single phase, Delta to wye/star, Wye/Star to delta, Delta to delta, Wye/Star to wye/star, Delta to zig-zag, etc.) without a need to switch the test hookup cables. In addition, it can perform the test with true three-phase test voltage, allowing testing any transformer type. Following the test, it displays a turns ratio, phase shift, and excitation current obtained with single-phase and/or true three-phase tests. TRT3x lets users enter a transformer’s nameplate voltages for the turns ratio deviation calculation. This feature eliminates any error otherwise caused by an operator’s manual calculation. The TRT3x also compares the test result with the nameplate ratio and prints out the % of error for each test. Operating conditions messages or error messages identify incorrect test conditions, abnormal operating condition or transformer problems. TRT3x has a very high ability to cancel electrostatic and electromagnetic interference in HV electric fields. It is achieved by a very efficient filtration. The BA100 dielectric oil tester is a portable Breakdown Analyzer for on-site testing of transformer oil. The dielectric strength of insulating oil can be tested in a simple, quick and fully automatic way, without the need to ship oil samples to a test laboratory. The plant operator is in a position to decide ad hoc on the need for substitution of the transformer oil and to initiate respective measures. The automatically generated test reports are provided in PDF format and can be stored on a USB stick. With a weight of only 32 kg, the BA100 dielectric oil tester is ultra-light and ideal for mobile use. The test voltage is automatically controlled and increased to a maximum level of up to 100kV rms. Flashover voltage is measured with an accuracy of ±1kV over the whole voltage range. The extremely short switch off time at flash over is below 5μs. Thus the pollution of the oil by the electric arc is negligible. This allows non-destructive testing of synthetic oil, ester oil and silicone oil. Applications Three Connector Jacks with Automatic Blocking Sockets (ABS) All current ranges are implemented via a single connector jack which prevents any possibility of operator error. Beyond this, the automatic blocking sockets prevent incorrect connection of the measurement cables, as well as selection of the wrong measured quantity. Danger to the user, the instrument and the device under test resulting from operator error is thus ruled out. Overload Protection The instrument is safeguarded for up to 1000 V in all measuring functions by overload protection. Voltages of greater than 1000 V and current of greater than 10 or 16 A are indicated acoustically. Dangerous contact voltages are indicated when the 1 kHz low-pass filter is activated. The FUSE display appears in order to indicate that the fuse for the current measuring input has blown. RMS Value with Distorted Waveshape The utilized measuring method allows for waveshape independent RMS measurement (TRMS AC and AC+DC) for voltage and current (upto 20 kHz).
