The meaning and message of the poem is that mankind should take time to appreciate natures greatest beauties. The man listens to the skylarks singing and realizes its beauty and uniqueness without any artificial man made sounds. Also, the man admires the freedom the skylark has, knowing that it can fly wherever it pleases with no limits. The skylark can escape from all evils of society.Meaning and message

Simile- Like a cloud of fire explains how the bird is and/ or what it is doing. It gives more of an idea.Personification- From one lonely cloud Exaggerates the skylarks doings and to explain the characteristics of nature.Alliteration- And singing still dost soar, and soaring ever singest Emphasize the skylarks beauty and loudness of its voice.Rhyme- In the golden lightning Of the sunken sun, Oer which clouds brightning, Thou dost float and run; Like an unbodied joy whose race is just begun. Modern song connection

We chose Three Little Birds by Bob Marley because in the song he talks about being happy and not too worry about the little things in life. Dont worry about a thing, cause every little thing is going to be all right. That line fits well with the poem because the skylark symbolizes peace and freedom. It symbolizes that society will soon at ease. Connection with song
