Primary Objective*
A primary objective of the Hunt County Master Thoroughfare Plan is toA primary objective of the Hunt County Master Thoroughfare Plan is to ensure the preservation of adequate rights-of-way on appropriate
alignments for the appropriate roadway type. This Plan will allow for the orderly and efficient expansion and improvement of the thoroughfareorderly and efficient expansion and improvement of the thoroughfare
system to serve existing and future transportation needs. Furthermore, the Plan will identify and encourage linkages between existing and
planned roadway facilities of jurisdictions, both within and around the study area, to increase the regional connectivity and consistency of the
total roadway system.
