Hundall Scout Activity Centre Booking info Hundall is a small camp site approximately 2 acres big set in the rolling North Derbyshire hills between Sheffield and Chesterfield. It has a bus service into Chesterfield where the famous crooked Spire can be found and is open to the public on bank holidays. The dales are within easy reach only 20 minutes drive where Chatsworth house and many more attractions can be found such as climbing, caving and canoeing. There are plenty of local walks around stunning countryside and woodland The Site has a small wooden building where there is a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, boiler and fridge. There is enough cutlery, utensils, pans and cups for around 30 people. The building sleeps 10 in an open plan room and there is seating and tables available, a wash room with sinks and two toilets. The cost for the site in 2011 is £75.00 for the whole weekend inclusive of electricity. (This price is for 10 people) There is £1.00 per person per night camping fee on numbers over 10. Hundall is ideal for back to basics type camps, cub camp, scout camp and explorer camp and has a campfire circle and BBQ area with seating. There is a small car park big enough for 6 cars or 2 minibuses. The camping area at the top of the field is big enough to pitch around 30 to 40 tents, with a gentle slope down to the building for playing games on.
