Note: These upgrade procedures do not apply to:

Identify the Main Digital Box.Identify the TV that you use to watch most of the time.

This will be your Main TV and Digital Box.

KEY STEP 1: TO PREPARE FOR THE SOFTWARE UPGRADE - BEFORE 2:00 AM, OCT. 26, 2012

This software upgrade procedure is applicable to subscribers with 2 or more Digital Boxes only. These do not apply to residents living in condominiums and subscribers in commercial establishments.

How to set your Digital Box LNB Power (On/O�)

On your Remote Control Unit, press the OK button to bring up the Home Screen.

Step 2Switch “ON” the LNB Power of your Main Digital Box.

Set the LNB Power of the Main Digital Box to "ON".

In Home Screen menu, select "Settings" and press the OK button.

b Enter the correct PIN code (default is "0000", “9999” or "9998").

Select "System Setup" and press the OK button.d Select "Installation Setup" and press the OK button.e



Select "Satellite Setup" and press the OK button.f Select LNB Powering and set to "ON" or “OFF”.g

Press the OK button until you go back to the installation set up screen then press the Exit button to go to full screen view.

Step 3Switch “OFF” the LNB Power of the other Digital Boxes.Set the LNB Power of the other Digital Boxes to "OFF".

On October 25, before you sleep, switch o� all your Digital Boxesbut keep them plugged in their power outlets.

Please proceed to the next part of the Software Upgrade Procedures on October 20 after 6:00 am.

When you wake up...

System Setup

Software Version XXXXXXX

Switch on your Main TV and Main Digital Box after 6:00am.

Check the Software Version of your Main Digital Box.



a On your Remote Control Unit, press the OK button to bring up the Home Screen.

b In Home Screen menu, select "Settings" and press the OK button.

How to check your Digital BoxSoftware Version.

c Enter the correct PIN code (default is "0000", “9999” or "9998").



Select "System Setup" and press the OK button.de Select "Diagnostics" and press the OK button.

Check the current Release Number.

Release Number: 105

The correct Release Number indicated should be 105.

h Press the Exit button to exit the Settings screen.



If the Software Version matches what is indicated in the Digital Box Guide, proceed to Step 4.

If the Software Version does not match what is indicated in the Digital Box Guide, switch o� the power of the

Main Digital Box and keep it plugged in the outlet.

Wait for 1 hour then proceed to Step 3.

Step 3Turn on your Main Digital Box.

If the upgrade is ongoing, you will see a progress barshowing percentage completion.

Wait 20-30 minutes for this to finish.

Once upgrade progress is completed, proceed to Step 4.



Unplug the Main Digital Boxand proceed to the 2nd/3rd Digital Box.

For 2nd and 3rd Digital BoxesStep 1

Unplug your 3rd Digital Box (if any) before turningon your 2nd TV & 2nd Digital Box.

Step 2Switch on your 2nd TV and 2nd Digital Box.

Step 3Check the Software Version of your 2nd Digital Box.

Step 4Set the LNB Power of the 2nd Digital Box to "ON".

Step 5Switch o� the 2nd Digital Box.

Keep the box plugged in the power outlet. Wait for 1 hour before checking again, then repeat Step 2.

Step 6Set the LNB Power of the 2nd Digital Box

to "OFF" then unplug the box.

Step 7If you have a 3rd Digital Box, repeat Steps 1 to 5

(For 2nd and 3rd Digital Boxes).

Note: After successfully completing the Software Upgradesfor your Main and other Digital Boxes, all boxes are unplugged.

Wait for five (5) seconds.

Plug in and turn on your TVs and Digital Boxesto enjoy your regular programming.
