Sex Trafficking “ Sex trafficking occurs when people are forced or coerced into the commercial sex trade against their will. Child sex trafficking includes any child involved in commercial sex. Sex trafficker frequently target vulnerable people with histories of abuse and then use violence, threats, lies, false promises, debt bondage, or other forms of control and manipulation to keep victims involved in the sex industry.

Labor Trafficking Labor trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which individuals perform labor or services through the use of force, fraud, or coercion. More InformationHuman trafficking takes place all over the world. Most severe cases are: Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Ukraine, etc. The FBI estimates that as many as 18,00 victims are trafficked into the US each year from all over the world.

Continuing...One of the main problems is that many women and children are not given the proper care. Particularly health care assistances that are greatly needed. A lot of victims are overlooked and so they go without aid because they fear being hurt or perhaps killed by their trafficker. Most times, victims are not nly scarred for their own lives but more so for the lives of their families, which is often times the main reason they are in the trafficking trade to begin with.
