Ambition

The visual images I chose for the definition, Ambition, are all images of tasks and stunts that take courage and ambition to complete. They all take courage and strength to come forward and achieve something great. The picture of the soldiers at war are a great visual for this category. It shows the courage and ambition that it takes to fight for your country. The picture of the guy doing the bicycle stunt shows his braveness achieve his goal. The picture of the bee keeper covered in bees shows the courage and braveness of the man beneath the bees. The picture of the happy people cheering and smiling shows how with ambition and courage you can achieve your goals and reach something great if you really try.

Vice The visual images of the pictures on the collage all show common bad habits. They are all examples that are common among people now a days. The picture of the pills show are examples of the deadly addiction to drugs. They can be abused and the habit can ruin peoples lives. The picture of alcohol, shows the severity of an addiction. If you abuse a substance it will affect you and the people around you. The sad face shows the emotion involved with “Vice.” Not only do the addictions effect you as a person, but it affects the people around you. The image of the nail biting can be portrayed as a person with a bad habit, or a person with stress. Stress can result in depression. People who have a serious bad habit are more open to stress and early depression. All the causes of vice can be associated with stress.

Duty The images on the collage are all a part of the duty of people as an individual. They are symbols and visuals. The pictures of the mother and the baby are all images to show the motherly duty of the woman. The image of the deer and her young shows that even animals have a duty. The picture of the President shows the duty he has for not only the country but for his family and himself. Duty comes with responsibility , people look up to you and relied on you to achieve the specific task. You are considered a leader and you must complete the task, as it is your duty. The picture of the boy scouts show the responsibility of the young boys. They are relied on by many and are able to achieve their duties at a young age. Virtue Virtue is the quality of doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong. The practice of moral excellence and righteous is a big part of this. The ancient structures are showing how you can look back in the past and make the changes you want for the future. The picture of the church window shows how religion is practiced and praised upon by many. It involves moral excellence. The picture of the eye shows how “I (eye)” myself have the power to do what is right. The picture of the all the hands show how together we are all strong and can achieve even the hardest goals. Virtues isn't about what's right and wrong. Its about how you can make change and see a brighter future. Its about understanding your mistakes and learning from them and trying to avoid any troubles along the way.
