• Total number of programs in the United States undetermined: 8, 15, 30. LACKS DEFINITION

• Graduate programs for coastal engineering aren’t specifically for port/harbor engineering

• Dearth of trained engineers coming out of university, but MS/PhD level civil engineers can be trained

• Military provides qualified engineers

Fortifying the south breakwater, building a new north breakwater, constructing 500m of revetment and seawall as well as dredging the channel to a depth of -18mCD from -12.5mCD in some places . A three-person dive team for each individual task.
