Transcript of Human Behaviour in Organization
Herzberg’s Hygiene and Motivational factors or lack of it thereof
Herzberg postulated that hygiene factors must be present in the job before motivators can be used to stimulate the workers.

DisengagementCareer advancement opportunities : Growth prospects
in the organization were fewer given the high levels of hierarchy, it generally took more than 5 years to get promoted. In such a case their was lack of motivation to provide an output as desired by the organization.
Quality of the work : Quite frequently at an entry level position we were supposed to do backend work involving data capturing and updating, mantling dashboards, etc. So the perceived value delivered from the work was less.
