Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog EntriesStud Dog Class - Will be for Stud Dog and two of their Get. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud DogClass and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily beowner of Get. Get only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. Get must be entered in one of theRegular Classes. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not be considered in the placement of the entry,the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification orexcusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the Standard for its breed.

Brood Bitch Class - Same as the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Producefor Get. As the judge's decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of morethan one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will beeligible for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.

SWEEPSTAKES & VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES*Sweepstakes Guidelines will be in accordance with those of the GRCA, as revised in May 2007.

GRCA SWEEPSTAKES GUIDELINESHANDLER: The handler of a Sweepstakes exhibit must be either the owner, co-owner, breeder ormember of their immediate family as they are listed on file with the American Kennel Club as of theclosing date for the show for which the Sweepstakes entry is being made. Immediate family is definedas husband, wife, mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter or legal domestic partner. Stepchildrenand legal wards are also included in this definition. In-laws and grandchildren are not considered to beimmediate family members. No other individuals may take the entry into the ring during judging orcheck-in.

The following individuals are excluded from showing an exhibit in sweepstakes unless they are the soleowner registered with the AKC or co-own the entry with a member of their immediate family (as definedabove) or a legal domestic partner:

!Any individual listed as an agent on any dog in any regular or non-regular class at this or any othershow in the previous two years.!Any individual with an Agent number including, but not limited to an AKC Registered HandlerNumber or Professional Handlers Association (PHA) number.

To avoid confusion or question, it is recommended that a photocopy of the registration certificate beincluded with the entry for a co-owned exhibit.Best in Sweepstakes Class: It is required that the same person who showed the dog to a first place in aSweepstakes class will also show the dog in the Best is Sweeps class. However, if that person shouldhave more than one dog in the Best in Sweepstakes class, someone else is permitted to show theadditional winner. That person should meet the handler definitions above. Only in cases where there isnot another owner, co-owner, breeder or co-breeder or immediate family member available, shouldanother person take the dog into the Best in Sweeps class. It is understood that there would be nofinancial benefit to that individual. Individuals who have an AKC Handler number, a PHA number or arelisted as an agent on any dog in the regular or non-regular classes may not show a sweepstakesentrant unless they are the sole owner registered with the AKC or co-own the entry with a member oftheir immediate family (as defined above) or a legal domestic partner.

Puppy Sweepstakes is open to all purebred Golden Retriever puppies six (6) months of age and undereighteen (18) months of age on the day of the show. Each entrant must also be entered in a RegularClass at this show. Indicate Sweepstakes on the regular entry form in the space for "additional classes"and state age. AKC Champions of Record are not eligible.

The following classes will be offered for both dogs & bitches:Puppy, 6 months and under 9 months Junior, 12 months and under 15 monthsPuppy, 9 months and under 12 months Junior, 15 months and under 18 months

BEGINNER PUPPY SPECIAL ATTRACTIONFRIDAY, JUNE 6, 2014

Bring your Beginner Puppy (4-6 months of age) to the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club Showon Friday, June 6, 2014.

Four to Six Month Special Attraction (AKC Sanctioned)The Four-to-Six Month Beginner Puppy competition shall be for dogs and bitches that are fourmonths and under six months of age on the day of the event. AKC registration number or an AKClitter number will be required for entries. Professional handles are not permitted to exhibit in thisclass. Professional handles are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to aprofessional handlers' organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or representedthemselves as handling dogs for pay.Dogs must be four months of age and under six months. Dogs are required to be vaccinated inaccordance with their veterinarian's protocol in order to avoid inadvertent transmission of illnessby/to puppies not yet fully immunized. AKC Rules in Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable toany person and dog entered at this competition. AGREEMENTI (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. Inconsideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and towin prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officersagents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that arenecessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judgingat this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to anyperson or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I( (we)personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned partiesharmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned partiesharmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of theaforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by anyperson or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence or my (our)participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same mayhave been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of theiremployees, agents, or any other persons. INSTRUCTIONS1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular

variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniels (Black, ASCOB, Parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in.; over 13 in. but notexceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (Longhaired, Smooth, Wirehaired), Bull Terriers (Colored, White), Manchester Terriers(Standard, Toy), Chihuahuas (Smooth Coat, Long Coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and PrinceCharles), Poodles (Toy, Miniature, Standard), Collies (Rough, Smooth).

2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record

and dogs which, according to their owner's records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whosechampionships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is Limited to a period of90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list, if the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is

divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog,i.e., age division, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog

has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed afterthe date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog isrecorded in his name. State on the entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to A.K.C. (For complete rule refer toChapter 14, Section 3.).

5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners ListedDog "All-American Dog/Mixed Breed." Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

THE SHOW will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.An AKC RECORDING FEE of $.50 and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog

entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. If a dog is entered inmore than one class in one of these events, the AKC Recording Fee and Service Fee is to be collected onthe first entry only. (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 2). An AKC Recording Fee of$3.00 will be required for each entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. If a dog is entered in morethan one class in a Rally event, the AKC Recording Fee is to be collected on each of the entries of thatdog. (AKC Rally Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 3). All Recording Fees are paid to the American KennelClub.

RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a $20.00 collection feeto the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result intheir being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

TELEGRAPH, TELEPHONE and UNSIGNED ENTRIES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.ENTRIES NOT ON OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORMS AND PHOTOCOPIES OF ENTRY FORMS without

the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOTACCEPTABLE.

CONDITIONS AS TO ITS ACCEPTANCE.ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by

Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because of riots,civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or tocomplete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made.

ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoevermay make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation ofentries after the published closing date.

NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries,but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made.

CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING.DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for

further judging will be excused.JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are

responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to bejudged. The show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providingservice through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locatingdogs that are not brought into the ring when required.

ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged orwhen in the exercising ring.

THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs andexhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident ormisfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show.

NO GASOLINE OR DIESEL GENERATORS are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tentin which this dog show is conducted.

Effective May 1, 2006 an administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelledprior to the closing of entries. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline 877-252-3229.Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal andexternal parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. Effective January 1, 2009 - Refund and Cash award checks are void after 180 days and will NOT be re-issued.
