Datalex’s solution enables product and reservations requests to be directed to the appropriate host inventory source through connectivity to a number of different systems. These include existing central reservations (CRS) and property management systems (PMS) for real-time lodging rates and inventory information, as well as other systems dedicated to activities, entertainment, ground transportation, frequent buyer transactions and so on. The solution also encompasses connectivity to the major Global Distribution Systems for air transportation, car rentals and other components to be used to build complete travel packages.

SOLUTIONS
Distribution
Datalex’ s solution components are used to create Web portal applications that reach into the inventories of multiple travel suppliers to enable vacation components to be distributed through all wholesale, retail, electronic, online and on-site channels. Datalex technologies are designed for travel suppliers to aggregate and package multiple product types, including traditional air, car, and hotel products, with leisure activities such as entertainments, attractions spa, golf, ski etc.
Information management – Faced with the ever-increasing demand for information-rich content at the Web site, call center, and partner sites, Datalex’s content management solution enables the use of multilingual descriptive property information, media and graphical content.
Search and recommendation –The system permits users to search for products and information content using such criteria as region, price and proximity to attractions and airports etc. Recommendations are displayed as ranked results according to the best match to the desired attributes.
Customer Relationship Management – Datalex’s solution provides the capability to identify guests and use the attributes of an existing CRM system to promote loyalty. Promotional
rules may be based on attributes such as loyalty membership or customer value.
Dynamic Packaging
Datalex offers a true dynamic FIT sales environment in which agents and consumers can create itineraries from an “à la carte” selection of travel components that can be mixed and matched in a virtual shopping basket for subsequent quotation and booking. Simple fixed packages can be created and booked effortlessly with private and published air, car hire, hotels, shows, attractions and insurance rates. The selling price is calculated dynamically.
