The responses are, at first look, very interesting. Over the HARVEST FESTIVAL On Wednesday 21 st October, we will be holding our Harvest Festival in the school hall at 9am. We would be delighted if you could join us for this. As part of the lead up to this, each year group is going to make a scarecrow. We’d really appreciate any donations of clothing to enable us to produce seven little masterpieces! If you are able to help, please send any items of (adult) clothing in as soon as possible. Thank you. CAN YOU HELP? DIARY DATES Tues 6 th October – PTFA AGM at 7pm Wed 7 th October – Grandparents’ SUNFLOWER COMPETITION Please could all entries (photos, details, etc) be handed in by Monday 5 th October. SCHOOL MEALS As previously mentioned, as from after half term, the price of a school meal will rise to £2.00 in all Suffolk schools who have their meals provided by Suffolk County Catering. Next Wednesday (7 th October) Suffolk County Catering have made a change to the normal menu… GRANDPARENTS’ TO LUNCH DAY Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding with Gravy OR Shepherdess Pie Roast Potatoes, Fresh Broccoli, Carrot and Swede Mixed Steamed Syrup Sponge and Custard Usual price £1.90 for children £2.76 for adults We’d be delighted if any parents or GAMBRELLE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB Gambrelle in Debenham are in a position to provide after school care for all children. Many thanks to those parents who have helped their child complete the recent writing survey. The responses are, at first look, very interesting. Over the next week I will be collating all the responses and feeding this back to you

all.

More details relating to the Harvest Festival will be sent out in due course. We will be asking for donations of produce which we will then be looking to support the

Ormiston Trust with, as we did last year.
