Candlelight Opera

will be performing a new

Tchaikovsky’s great

opera at a number of

prestigious historic

venues and concert halls.

Throughout 2010, we

have been touring the

UK with a number of

fully staged operas

including Verdi’s La

Traviata and Puccini’s

Tosca as part of the

‘Opera in the House’

season. We have been

lucky enough to perform

these fully staged operas

at some beautiful venues

including Arundel Castle

in Sussex, Penshurst

Place in Kent and Ham

House in Richmond.

This Autumn we are

pleased to premiere our

new production of this

most elegant of operas

based on Pushkin’s

poem. Retelling one of

l o v e s t o r i e s ,

Candlelight’s sensitive

staging and beautiful

costumes promise to

Traviata, Candlelight Opera are

pleased to have the opportunity of

returning to this magnificent

theatre stage with another Verdi

opera.

One of London’s most prestigious

concert venues, this beautiful

venue promises to offer the perfect

setting for this new production.

T he next new production for

Candlelight Opera is to be a

new production of Verdi’s great

tragic opera RIGOLETTO, based on

a Victor Hugo story. Featuring

some of the best loved moments in

all opera including the famous tenor

aria, ‘La donna é mobile’ and the

haunting ’Caro nome’.

The performance is to be fully

staged and costumed in beautiful

period dress, and will be

accompanied by The Candlelight

Orchestra.

We are pleased to offer members of

Vienna has traditionally been the

start of the New Year and is

broadcast around the world to an

audience of over 4 billion in 44

different countries.

Candlelight Opera are now pleased
