Read 2 Chronicles 26:3-15 •What was the success that Uzziah experienced because he sought the Lord? •What are the characteristics of success that come from the Lord? Read 2 Chronicles 26:16-23 •Verse 16 indicates a connection between power and pride? What is the connection? Did his power create pride? Or did pride become more evident when someone becomes powerful? •It appears that Uzziah had some devotion to God, what did he do in the temple that God saw as prideful? •Why do you think that God gave Uzziah leprosy? What made that the last straw for God? •As Uzziah was being escorted into isolation, what do you think was going through his mind? How do you perceive his heart changing? • Does God still address sin, like pride, the same way He addressed it with Uzziah? • What sin is in your heart when you come before the Lord in Worship? • Uzziah either did not know about his pride issue or chose to ignore it as, “not a big deal.” Do you feel that way about any of the sin in your life?
