Node.js It’s Behind the Scene that Counts

So youve got a rich, responsive HTML5 and JavaScript clientside ... can you say the same about your backend?

The Node.js runtime allows you to bring your skills to creating scalable, networked programs.

We’ll walk through a live example to show you how to get started with Node.js, run your web applications, and use websockets.

Case Study Working with APIs

Programming the meat of your JavaScript application is the most productive and lucrative element for any development team.

Typically, the last 10 percent of the development effort administration tools, permission architecture, accountability, logging, etc. prove to be the most tedious, and usually end up taking 90 percent of the time allotted for the project.

Learn how Viewbiquity Data Objects make that 10 percent substantially easier, while decreasing training time for the adminstrators managing your applications.

And, once your JavaScript application is complete and generating anywhere from thousands to even billions of data points, tools must be used to visualize and analyze this information.

Learn how simple it is to deal with huge data sets using Viewbiquity Automated Data Layers REST and JavaScript APIs.

The Richer Experience of HTML5

With the ever-increasing amounts of data being made available via REST APIs, data-centric web applications are becoming ubiquitous on the web. HTML5 introduces new features that enable such applications to become more responsive and compelling.

In this talk I will share my experiences in building a Javascript library that leverages HTML5 features such as IndexedDB and SVG, along with modern protocols such as JSON and OData, to allow the development of data-centric web applications with more responsive user interfaces, and simple visualization of data that works across all platforms and devices.
