The Richer Experience of HTML5

With the ever-increasing amounts of data being made available via REST APIs, data-centric web applications are becoming ubiquitous on the web. HTML5 introduces new features that enable such applications to become more responsive and compelling.

In this talk I will share my experiences in building a Javascript library that leverages HTML5 features such as IndexedDB and SVG, along with modern protocols such as JSON and OData, to allow the development of data-centric web applications with more responsive user interfaces, and simple visualization of data that works across all platforms and devices.
