<HT-C350 Block Diagram>
The main system block consists of MPEG processor(HT-C350: ES8398, HT-C330: ES8396), MICOM(LC87F5M64), CEC MICOM (MC80F0316), DSP(CS48540), HDMI RX(SiL9013) and VIDEO DRIVER(THS7374).
MPEG(ES8398) supports dvd playback including mpeg4/Divx and provides TMDS signal for HDMI as well as PWM signal for audio output and performs audio A/D conversion.
5-lines interface between mpeg and micom consist of TXD, RXD, ACK, STB and reset. Micom controls front block including touchkey, cec micom, and Tuner.
The amp block consists of 3 TAS5342, and passive components which drive almost 55W per channel.
The main difference between HT-C350 and HT-C330 is whether it supports HDMI out or not. While HT-C350 has HDMI out, HT-C330 does not.
