Directions: 1) Get a different colored writing utensil for EACH of the following requirements for the fiveparagraph HSPA Persuasive Writing Prompt response. Then, create a Key like the one below.
= introductory strategy / hook= background information= thesis statement (including its restatement)= topic sentence= supporting detail (NUMBER THE SUPPORTING DETAILS)= transition= summary of main ideas= call to action / memorable ending
2) Locate each of the aforementioned requirements using your Key.
3) Edit the student model to correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
4) Annotate the student model by indicating its strengths and weaknesses Use the 6Point HSPA Rubric to help you with this step.
5) Score the student model using the 6Point HSPA Rubric.
