    Thank you for making 2011 a Christmascracker of a year!Hundreds o kind-hearted olk joined orces to make 2011 a abulous year or our estive undraiser,Sing or your Heart (SFYH), and we want to say a big thank you to each and every one o you.

    Your superb singing raised more than 10,000 to help Heart Research UK continue its pioneeringresearch into heart disease and help communities live healthier, happier, longer lives. Our annualChristmas singing extravaganza is a chance or people o all ages, communities and levels oexperience to exercise their vocal chords and their hearts or a good cause.

    Why is singing good for you? Its aerobic and gives your heart and lungs a good work out, helping to improve your

    cardiovascular system

    It lits your mood and relaxes you by releasing endorphins, those eel-good hormones

    Young people rom the Archbishop o York Primary School ound out frst hand about the benefts osinging when they joined the Archbishop o York and Patron o HRUK, Dr John Sentamu and HRUKNational Director, Barbara Harpham.

    A special thank you goes to Le Cateau Primary School in Catterick, North Yorkshire,

    or producing a proessionally recorded CD to raise money or HRUK.
