"Quality of Working Life" extent to which employees can enhance their personal lives through

    their work environment and experiences.

Quality of working life has been differentiated from the broader concept of quality of life. To

some degree, this may be overly simplistic, concluded that quality of work performance is

affected by quality of life as well as quality of working life.

Whilst quality of life has been more widely studied, quality of working life remains relatively

unexplored and unexplained. A review of the literature reveals relatively little on quality of

    working life.

It is argued that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts as regards quality of working life,

and, therefore, the failure to attend to the bigger picture may lead to the failure of interventions

which tackle only one aspect. A clearer understanding of the inter-relationship of the various

facets of quality of working life offers the opportunity for improved analysis of cause and effect

    in the workplace.

This consideration of quality of working Life as the greater context for various factors in the

workplace, such as job satisfaction and stress, may offer opportunity for more cost-effective

interventions in the workplace. The effective targeting of stress reduction, for example, may

otherwise prove a hopeless task for employers pressured to take action to meet the requirements.

    Findings:

It was found that 19% of the workers agree that they are aware of health in spite of the

nature of job, 8% strongly agree.

It was found 19% of the workers agree that the energy & time spent on the job does not

    affect their life adversely.

It was found that 12% of workers agree for getting opportunities for improvement of their

job, 9% no agreement or disagreement, 5% strongly agree, 4% disagree.

    Suggestions:

Minimum workers are getting opportunities for improving their job in the

organization so the organization needs to take into consideration for improving

the job opportunities of its workers.

Acceptance level of the workers ideas to bring new changes in the organization is

very low. So the organization needs to accept the ideas of the workers at some

situations so as it will increase the work efficiency & leads to increase in the

    productivity.

    Limitations:

As the information was collected during the working hours, the employees may have

given biased answers in a hurry due to lack of time.

Due to time restriction vigor study could not be possible. Especially for the survey, based

on employees they were busy in their routine work.

    Suggestions:

Some of the following suggestions we would like to give based on the analysis.

The savings habit of the workers is poor & low so the organization has to help the

workers in improving their savings by providing life insurance, medical insurance

    etc.

Organization should not give too much of work stress to the workers so as itmight affects the life of the workers adversely.

Only least amount of workers enjoying job rotation for avoiding monotony. So

the organization has to keep in mind that the job rotation should not lead to work

    repetitiveness.

    Conclusion:

From the survey it is cleared that the Quality of work life of the workers in the

organization is up to the satisfaction level.

But still there are some Criterias to be fade out.

There are limited opportunities for the workers in the organization which will leads to the

hurdle in enhancing the improvement of their job. In order to retain the workers & work

efficiency, the organization has to recognize the views of the workers, & provide opportunities

for growth, development & security etc.

Organization has to improve the socio economic conditions of the workers so as to

increase the morale of the workers.

Quality of better work performance will ultimately lead to the Quality of better life.
