Review and update your mailing address online through Employee Self-Service (ESS) located at https://portal.adp.com/public/index.htm

Health Spending Account (HSA)
Health Spending Account (HSA)
Mandatory with Health Investor Plan enrollment An HSA is like a personal savings account for healthcare,
except it's all tax-free Pays for cost of medical, dental or vision care services not
covered under HIPs The State contributes tax-free during the year on a monthly basis
Health Spending Account You receive a HSA debit card to draw on your account
at any time for eligible expenses (based on available balance)
If you change health options in the future, you can still use the money in your HSA
Balance carries over into next year Your account balance is portable if you were to leave
the University Healthcare expenses are considered tax-deductible by
the IRS See IRS Publication 502 for more information on
eligible healthcare expenses
Health Investor Plans(high deductible/low premium)
Higher deductible (in network: $1,250 per person, $2,500 per family).
You meet deductible, then pay part of the cost for services you receive
Lower monthly premiums (payroll deductions) Single Employee - $15.00 Family Coverage - $64.30
Health Savings Account with yearly contributions from the State
Single Employee - $500 Family Coverage - $1,000

Payroll Transfers
Payroll Transfers• Payroll transfers must be submitted to
Payroll by June 21, 2010 for this fiscal year, however, the receiving department will have an elevated accrual that will not be reversed in 2009-10
• ADP limitation on the amount of transfers that are processed in one pay period.
• After the deadline no transfers will be processed for E&G departments for checks dated fiscal year 2009-10
I-9 Completion Instructions• Developing a step by step guide for
completing the I-9 Form • Current Issues:
• Missing employee information• Missing employee signature and date• Incorrect documents being used• Documents from A, B and C lists
provided• Form not signed by verifying agent• Form being completed after the first
three days of employment.

New Position Request Forms
New Position Requests• In preparation for the Operating Budget
submission to the Board of Governors, Human Resources should receive the following by Monday, June 7:
• New Position Request Forms for all new positions budgeted in 2010-11
• Position Descriptions for corresponding Administrative and Staff positions
• HR Liaisons will receive a list of budgeted positions that are not yet in ADP to assist
