The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association
devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in
over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the
interests of the HR profession.
Founded in 1948, SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and
subsidiary offices in China and India.

HRI is a part of SHRM’s University Alliance Program where

Completely backed by the HR experts themselves, it will be the
HR experts who will deliver, mentor and monitor the students
and hence institutes can get the much needed industry interface.
This novel initiative helps and benefits the key stakeholders in
the following ways:
Institutes – They get to develop long-term and sustainable
relations with the corporate world.
Industry – They are able to mould the students who would be
their prospective hires and expect a better productive graph.
Students - They get a once in a lifetime opportunity to interact
with and learn from the very people who will eventually select,
hire or reject them when they apply for a job. Students also learn
to handle the campus to college integration challenges in an
effective manner.
Self Assessment will help in determining proficiency in business communication skills and
also indicate the personality of the student. This information is important for the student to
realize his current competencies and understand how he needs to enhance them to become
employable.
Self assessment will contain two modules:
1. Assess my English: This assessment will evaluate the business communication skills of the
students, which is a critical factor to ensure their employability.
2. Personality assessment: This assessment will help in understanding their personality traits
and the behaviours associated with them. Students begin their corporate journey with a
better understanding of their personality.
Four modules in the HR Integration will be delivered by practising HRs from various
industries. These sessions will help students in the following:
1. Industry expectations in skills and competencies
2. Preparedness for corporate life
Eight modules will be facilitated by GreenBooks trainers that will focus on enhancing the
soft skills of the students and also train them to be prepared for the recruitment process.
Students will be exposed to workshops/ forums/ conclaves to collaborate, discuss and
engage with facilitators. A career development manual will be available for the students to
refer to whenever they need to reinforce learning or refresh their skills before an interview.

Duration: 24 hours program split into 8 modules over a period of 7-8 weeks at the college premises
Institutions can develop long term and sustainable

Certificate of completion for the students
Students are given exposure to SHRM forums in the
cities where they would be based at and can interact
with the HR community on a bi- monthly basis
There will be an annual case study contest held for
SHRM adopted students
Top 4 case studies will be hosted on SHRM website and will be accessed by the entire HR members of SHRM
Top 2 case studies will be awarded CASH Prizes`
