HPHS Resources (Web2Print)

The HPHS resources are to assist you to promote the HPHS programme of health improvement

work in hospital settings. These are available at Health Scotland’s online print portal (Web2Print):

HPHS Business cards (credit card size – 88mmx55mm)

Ideal for handing out to introduce the HPHS programme and distribute the national contact details.

Smoke-free grounds business cards (posters / flyers also available via Web2Print)

A tool to help make staff more comfortable in making smokers aware of the smoke-free policy.

Contact details for Smokeline are included on the cards and can be handed out to any smokers.

There are 3 versions for the reverse of the card: standard messaging; managing smoking for those

not ready to quit; and protecting people’s health.

The reverse statement panels can be chosen from six options.

HPHS Programme leaflet (A5 folded - 4 pages)

The leaflet covers core themes and actions of the HPHS programme & CMO (2015) 19 letter.

HPHS Professional leaflet (A5 folded - 6 pages)

The leaflet is designed to support health professionals to communicate effectively and have health

promoting conversations with their patients. (The content was adapted from a leaflet developed by

NHS Borders).

HPHS Patient leaflet (1/3 A4 folded - 4 pages)

The patient leaflet complements the professional leaflet above and aims to enable patients to

prepare for a conversation with a health professional. (The content was adapted from a leaflet

developed by NHS Borders).
