•Four of our secondary schools currently host International students

•English as a Second Language is offered at each school

•International students come from Hong Kong, China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Brazil, USA Germany, Russia and Mexico

•The number in each school is limited to a maximum of 30 International students

Elementary Schools Elementary Schools• Students in Grades 7and 8

are hosted at a number of our Elementary schools

• No more than ten elementary ISP students to any one school

• Students attend regular classes with English - speaking students

• Each student receives daily ESL instruction

Homestay Program Homestay Program• Local families and professionals volunteer to host ISP

students• Each must provide a welcoming home and agree to

provide support to the student• Each applicant is carefully selected, by means of

interviews, home visits and inspections, and police/ reference checks

• Once acceptance is granted, an invoice and provisional letter of acceptance will be forward to the student

• Payment or payment notification must be sent to our office• Upon receipt of payment, an Official Letter of Acceptance and

Guardianship documents will be issued

• Students should arrive one week prior to beginning of classes. Language assessment, orientation and program planning will be completed.

• Students become familiar with their community, arrange banking, settle into homestay and get to know their school
