Harry Potter and the New Game

Summary: After dying in the Final battle, Harry learns his life

is some kind of video game. One he apparently failed at

miserably. H/Hr, Harry/Multi. Dumbles, Ron/Gin/MollyBashing. Dumbles didn't die at the end of 6th

Yes I know there is a story like this. I read it a while back

(and can't find it again).

I am hoping to put in my own twists and mess with it.

The only thing stolen is the premise (HP is a game, HPbecomes aware and starts again) and maybe a few features

that make sense and I would've used anyway, in some form.

The only reason it's stolen is because I don't know which

author to ask permission off of.

It was the final battle. All of Voldemort's horcruxes weregone and it all came down to this. Spells were flying all

around, Death Eaters, Werewolves, Teachers and Students

all dropped like flies. Green death mixed with the tamer

Stupefy Red and Crucio Yellow and the lines that separated

Good from Evil had blurred until the person next to you could

be an enemy, an ally. Another notch or another friendly fire.

Harry was fighting with the rest of them, ducking green,

dodging yellow and firing back as many spells as popped

into his head.

But soon, tragedy struck, in the form of a mis-aimedreductor in the back.

Harry "Boy-Who-Lived" Potter was dead.

him. The words YES and NO at arm-level glowing on what

looked like giant buttons.

"What the hell? What is this? Why is Ginny a penalty? I

seriously am Fate's Bitch. " Harry moaned."Maybe if I do it differently things might be easier. Or go

completely wrong."

With that Harry pushed the glowing YES and the world

returned to Darkness.

Harry Potter, The Boy-Who-Lived.

Harry Potter was a very extraordinary boy. He was

considered the Saviour of the Wizarding World due tovanguishing the Dark Lord Voldemort on Halloween at the

age of 1, girls dreamed of marrying him when they were

older and boys wanted to emulate him. Not that he knew all

this, as his relatives, his horse-faced Aunt Petunia, walrus-

like Uncle Vernon and his Pig of a cousin Dudley hated all

things abnormal. But soon, Harry will return to the world of

Magic as his letter to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and

Wizardry will arrive with the morning post.

"Up! Get up!" Came a voice Harry never wanted to hear

again.

"Yes Aunt Petunia." He replied, getting out of bed.

The day continued normally, Harry made breakfast and was

forced to retrieve the mail.

Quest Gained: View Hogwarts Letter.

'Great. Maybe this time I can avoid going to that rock in themiddle of the sea.'

Harry grabbed the pile of letters, sorting through them and

quickly tossing the thick parchment into the open cupboard

he gave the remainder of the letters to Uncle Vernon.
