Objectives

How well do you CITE?College graduate students and undergraduate students often

struggle with the complexity of citing reference sources correctly in their research papers. This game uses a question/answer format to test student knowledge of APA citation rules, providing practice and knowledge building in a competitive game setting.

How well do you cite?

The goal of the game is to correctly answer all of the APA citation questions faster than other students playing the game with you.

To win this game, all players load this identical game on their pc, waiting for a synchronized “start” time to begin answering questions. The first player to answer all questions and shout out the word “Finished” when prompted by the game is the winner.

Game Preparation• Each student must load this powerpoint program on their own

pc.• After selecting “Play the Game” from the Home screen,

players will pause on the “Start to Play” screen for all players selecting the “start” button at a synchronized “start” time.
