Sediment Filter Polypropylene filter effectively removes solids such as rust, mud, sand and sediment larger than 5 μm (microns). Activated Carbon Block Carbon block filter exposes a maximum volume of water to active carbon to most efficiently absorb contaminants. Turbidity, heavy metals and chemicals such as chlorine, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and THMs (Trihalomethanes) are all effectively absorbed; as is any odour or unwanted taste. Silver Infused Granular Activated Carbon Granular carbon further improves the flavour of water by removing residual chlorine, VOCs and THMs while bioactive silver ion inhibits the growth of bacteria. Ion Exchange Resin Reduces substances causing water hardness. Ultrafiltration Membrane Ultrafiltration ensures microbiologically safe and clean drinking water for you and your family. Water is passed through tiny hollow fibres measuring 0.01 μm – 0.1 μm wide. This allows beneficial natural minerals to pass through while all bacteria and microscopic impurities, which are larger than 0.1 μm, are removed including 100% removal of harmful coliform and E. Coli bacteria. INSTALLATION GUIDELINES 1. The HomePure 7-Stage Water Filtration System and HomePure Eaze cannot be used with water temperature above 35°C. Use with optimal water pressure (1 – 4 bar); higher than 4 bars may cause unit overflow or damage to the filter cartridge. 2. HomePure should only be installed using tap water (pre-treated water from metropolitan water works). Using HomePure with underground water will quickly clog the cartridge and thus affect drinking water quality. A water supply with hardness of not over 500 ppm is recommended. 3. For any countries where water clarity is low (contains rust, sand, mud or particles larger than 5 microns), HomePure Prefilter is recommended to extend the lifetime of your HomePure Eaze Filter Cartridge. Ensure that you change the Prefilter as suggested (2,600 litres or 6 months. The life of HomePure Prefilter depends on the quality of water). 4. The estimated lifetime of the HomePure Eaze Filter Cartridge is 12 months based on a usage of 10 litres per day and typical water quality. 5. HomePure can only be installed as a countertop unit by using a diverter valve. It cannot be used under the sink. 6. To clean, wipe surfaces regularly with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaners, bleach or benzene-based solvents. And clean the drip tray according to the manual as needed. 7. When not in use for an extended period, close water inlet valve to prevent growth of bacteria. 8. If a leak is discovered, close the valve on the water inlet and contact the QNET Global Support Centre. Ensure hose is firmly and completely over the valve before securing it with the o-ring, and then tighten the cap. Connect the diverter valve to your faucet or plumbed water supply. Three faucet adaptors are included for your convenience. Remove the cover of the sealed inlet pipe on the bottom of the unit. Connect the other end of the plastic inlet hose to the inlet pipe and ensure that it is properly secured. 5-STAGE ULTRAFILTRATION SYSTEM
Push buttons on both sides of the body. Remove back cover.
Slide the Filter Cartridge Lever across to unlock the filter cartridge.
Remove filter vertically. Insert 2 AA batteries (included). The LED indicator will blink three times.
Push Filter Cartridge Lifetime Reset Button for 5 sec.
Gently turn the Filter Cartridge counter clockwise until it fits into place.
Slide across the Filter Cartridge lever in a counter clockwise direction to lock it into position.
