Make sure you book the devices using the online booking system - see this guide if you are not sure how

You need for each camcorder: • the camcorder

(obviously)• USB cable• tripod (optional)

press and hold the silver button on the side to turn it on

You can attach the tripod to the bottom if you need to keep it stable

press to take pictures

press to go back one screen

press to bring up settings menu

you can ignore this

press once to start recording video, press again to stop

when recording/taking pictures, 'w' and 't' are the zoom in and out buttons

when in a menu/selection screen, 'w' and 't' are up and down, the two dots left and right and 'ok' is select

press here to see/play your recorded video/pictures

It's a good idea to go into the settings and check that the Video Resolution is at 480/60p. The quality of the video is reduced slightly but the file size is much smaller

When you have finished recording, you can find your video by pressing the 'play' button to bring up all the videos/pics. 

Navigate using the buttons in the centre and then press 'ok' to play.

To connect the camcorder to the computer, remove the flap on the side and connect the USB cable

connect the other end of the cable to the USB port on the computer

On the desktop, click on 'my computer' and then

click on 'removable disk'

click on 'video' (if you want photographs, click on 'DCIM')

you can select your video from the list
