Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Where does all this information come from? Line 6 maintains a large collection of guitar-oriented print magazines and books, many of which have guitar rig diagrams and/or player interviews stating the gear they used on a particular song, album or tour. We double/triple check sources whenever possible to ensure accuracy, even confirming with the original artist when possible. Do I need to own Line 6 gear to use these diagrams? This information is purely meant as “information” and can be used however needed. I own a Line 6 device that does not have the model I am looking for – what should I do? Line 6 has modeled a LOT over gear throughout our history, but there are some pedals we have not yet modeled that you may need for a specific application. In this case we recommend you substitute a model that is closest to the model you are looking for – which is why the “category” of the effect is included, along with a picture of a similar product to help point you in the right direction.
