It let’s you know what people like


And helps you know where you can improve


A great way of collecting feedback is by doing surveys!


Survey Monkey is just the right tool to help you!


Go to your browser and type www.surveymonkey.com


This appears


For this tutorial we’ll use the free version


Click on Sign up FREE


This should appear


Type in your Username


Choose a Password


Type it again


Then enter your email


Alternatively, you can also sign up using Facebook


Or Gmail


For this tutorial, let’s sign up using Facebook


Click on Sign Up with Facebook


This appears


Click on Okay


This should show afterwards


Now let’s create our first survey!


Click on Create Survey


This appears


You can choose to start from scratch


Or use an expert template


For now, let’s create one from scratch


Type in your survey’s Title


Select Category from the drop down list


Next, click on Let’s Go


This appears next


And this afterwards


On the left panel, you’ll see options


Let’s check out each item first


This is your Question Builder


Here you can select which type of question you want


On Question Bank, you can select from different categories


You can customize how your survey goes by modifying Logic


The Options item, lets you add Pages and required items


Finally, Themes lets you customize how your survey looks


Let’s try making a survey with dropdown options


Click on Dropdown


This appears


You can add a Page Title if you want


Type in your Page Title


Then click on Save


Next, enter your question


Now, type in the options below


If you want to add an “other” option, click


This will show afterwards


Once you’re satisfied, click on Save


After that, this appears


To test your work, click on Preview & Test


A new window will pop-up


Click “x” so you can go on to the survey


Click the dropdown and select your answer


After that click Done


Next, click on“Return to Survey Editor”


You will be directed back to this page


Click on Next


This appears afterwards


Some features are available only when you upgrade


If you want to set multiple responses per computer


If you want people to edit their responses


Once satisfied, you’re survey is good to go!

Or share it using the methods below:


Once you have respondents, you can analyze results


Click on Analyze Results


Here you’ll see summaries


Data Trends


And Individual Responses
