Let’s get started with the tutorial.


Go to Google.com.


Type “sniply”.


Hit Enter.


This will appear.


Click this link.


You will be directed to the Sniply website.


This is their homepage.


You can watch their short explainer video.


Click “Watch Video”.


To start using Sniply, you would need to sign up.


It’s free!


Click on the “Try Sniply For Free” button.


You will see this popup.


You can sign up using your Twitter, Facebook, or email account.


Let’s sign up using Facebook.


Click on the Facebook button.


Click “Okay”.


Upon signing up, you will see this Table of Contents.


If you are a beginner, I recommended taking the product tour.


Click on “Start the Tour!”.


After reading about Sniply, click on Next.


Click on Next after reading about the Sniply workflow.


Click Next after reading about customizing snips.


Click Next after you’re done reading about Sniply analytics.


Click Next after reading on working with teams.


And you’re done with the tour!


Let’s create a snip.


There are three ways to create a snip.


Click on any one of the items below.


This will appear.


Enter the URL of the website you want to share here.


Put your custom message here.


Put your website here.


Click on “Create”.


The button on the lower left side on the screen will show a preview of your snip.


Congratulations! You have created a snip!


This Sniply link can now be shared in various social media channels.


If you want to see how the link would look like when shared, click on “Preview”.


If the reader clicks on the link you shared, they be directed to the website and see your

sniply link as in the below.


If the reader’s interest is piqued and they click on the call to action button, they will be

redirected to your website.


That was so cool, right?


Readers may also see the below invitation to try Sniply when they click on your call to action button.


Sniply can be added as a browser extension to Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.


Installing an extension will help you create Sniply links without forcing you to change how you work.



Let’s add it to Chome.


There are two ways to do it.


First option:


For Chrome users, go to the left side of your screen and click on “Install Chrome Extension”.


Second option:


Click on Integrations found on the left side of your screen.


Click on “Download” under the Chrome Extension box.


Whichever option you choose, this popup appears.


Click “Add”.


You will see that the Sniply icon is already added to Chrome.


You will see this welcome message after installing the extension.


Now snipping is made easier!


Let’s create a snip using the Chrome Extension.


Let’s say you came across content that you want to share via social media.


Just click on the sniply icon.


The Sniply popup will appear.


Customize the details as desired like how we learned earlier at the beginning of this tutorial.


Click on “Create”.


Done creating the snip!


Just copy the Sniply link and share via social media.


You can still preview the snip before sharing.


You can easily share the snip via Twitter or Facebook by clicking on their respective icons.


That was definitely simple, wasn’t it?


There are other things that you can do with Sniply.


You can integrate it with other services.
