How to use RB Digital on Android devices

Open the RB Digital app:

44 Magazine titles with back issues 2015

No loan limits or due dates

Browsing for titles:

Tap on the three lines in the top left corner

Tap on ‘Magazines’ from the menu


To view more information on a magazine, tap the thumbnail image


Here you can read about the magazine, see the latest issues or tap ‘View all issues’

to view available back issues


Back issues are listed in date order, newest to oldest. All issues shown can be

borrowed


Borrowing issues:

Tap the red ‘Checkout’ button and tap ok

You can begin reading the issue as it is downloading

OR tap the red ‘Checkout’ writing and tap ok

Tap the green ‘Read’ button to open the magazine (it may open automatically)

OR tap the red ‘Read’ writing


Reading an eMagazine:

Swipe to the left or right to turn the page

To zoom in on the pages, use pinch to zoom or double tap on the area you wish to

enlarge

Place two fingers close together on your screen and slowly move them away from each other, without lifting them off the screen. This will make the things on the screen larger. Think of it like stretching an elastic band.


Tap anywhere on the screen for the menus to appear

When the menus are open, you can scroll through the contents

Tap the back arrow to exit the magazine, it will remember your page for next time

Tap again anywhere on the screen to close menus


Managing issues on loan:

Tap on the three lines in the top left corner

Tap ‘Checked Out’ from the menu


Issues currently checked out will be displayed

Tap the red ‘Read’ writing to open your issue

Tap the cross to return your issue

Exiting the app:

Press the home button at the bottom of the tablet
