素燒瓷器 DUNCAN BISQUESReady to paint ceramic bisques for children. Duncan Bisque is formulated with pure earthenware clay and constructed from a consistent manufacturing process, which means no pressed ware and more stable results.

How To Use Duncan Bisque :1. Clean bisque piece with a damp

sponge to remove any bisque dust.2. Decorate with glaze or underglaze

and let dry completely.3. Fire to Cone 06 (~1000℃, max.1020℃). ＊素燒瓷器可燒最高溫度為1020℃

How to use

1. Place finger underneath the lip of cap and push up slowly to keep the bottle steady and avoid spills.

2. Apply 2 coats of any cone 06 glaze to cone 04 bisque. For mid-range pro jec ts, apply 2 coats of glaze and bisque fire to cone 04.

4. OR apply third coat of glaze and while glaze is still wet, sprinkle crystal chips where desired on piece. Note: Apply crystals sparsely near bot tom of p iece to keep crystals from flowing onto kiln shelf.

3. Mix Color Burst Crystal Chips with third coat of glaze and paint on p iece wi th brush.

5. Stilt and fire to cone 06. For mid-range projects, dry foot and fire to cone 5-6.

Due to the versatile nature o f t h e c r y s t a l s w h e n combineed with different glazes, it is recommended to test first using a tile at hor izonta l and ver t ica l angles.

PLACING YOUR KILNKiln shelves (batts) should be:• The correct size for your kiln• An appropriate thickness in relation to the temperature• Supported evenly with sufficient gaps to allow air circulation• Coated in batt wash for glost firings

Ware should be placed:• At least 5cm from the elements• Without touching each other• Evenly distributed in the kiln• Temember to wipe the feet of glazed pieces or, for earthenware, use stilts• Using cranks for glazed plates and tiles will save kiln space

FIRING CYCLESThe rate of temperature increase should be:• Slow for a bisque firing (between 90 and 150℃ per hour up to 650℃), depending on the size/thickness of the ware• Slow up to 150℃ for a glost firing• Slow if the items have thick or varying cross section
