How to Upgrade DreamTeam Gantt Charts to the full DreamTeam Suite

This document provides instructions how to upgrade to the full version of the DreamTeam Suite.

In order to upgrade to the DreamTeam Suite simply follow the directions below.

1. Click on the Gantt Chart Tab to launch the application

2. Once the Gantt Chart loads, click on the Support Menu and select the License Manager

3. Once the DreamFactory License Manager loads, you will be prompted to choose from one of the

following options:

I want to evaluate DreamTeam

I want to purchase DreamTeam

4. Select the appropriate radio and then click the Next button on the far right to continue

5. The Select Users tab will appear with the Found Users and the Named Users boxes. Type the

name of the resource you want to add. To obtain a list of all users in your Org, simply type the

word All and then click the search button. A list of all of the Users will be populated in the

Found Users box.

6. Next, select the user you want to give a license to in the Found User box and then click the

green arrow to move the user to the Named User box. Then click the next button.

7. Complete all of the Contact Information highlighted in red and then click next.

8. Check the “I Agree” check box in the top left corner and then click the next button.

9. The last step depends on whether you are trialing or purchasing. If you are trialing the

DreamTeam Suite then simply click on the Finish button. If you are purchasing, simply select

from one of the two payment options and then click the Finish button.

10. Once you have completed the License Manager, a little dialog box will appear indicating that

your license has been automatically activated. Simply click on the DreamTeam tab again to

launch DreamTeam and you are all set.

Additional Notes:

Once you have completed running the License Manager, you must then have your Salesforce

Administrator create a new Web tab for the DreamTeam Suite. DreamTeam Gantt Charts has a separate

tab that it uses compared to the DreamTeam Suite. To create a new Web tab for the DreamTeam Suite,

simply follow the directions below. Note: You must be a Salesforce System Administrator to be able to

create a Web tab.

1. Go into Salesforce Setup

2. Navigate to the left side of the screen and look for App Setup and click on Create

3. Next, click on Tabs located underneath Create

4. Click on the “New” button under the Web Tabs section

5. Creating a new Web tab is a 5 step wizard. Step 1 is to select a Tab Layout. Simply select your

desired tab layout and then click the Next button to continue.

6. Step 2 is to define content and display properties. Enter the following information in the

appropriate slot. Click the Next button to continue.

Tab Label: DreamTeam

Tab Name: BLND_DreamTeam

Tab Style: This is up to you. This is a mandatory Salesforce field. Simply click on the magnified

glass icon and select a Tab Style.

Content Frame Height: 600

7. Step 3 is where you enter the URL Details. Enter the following URL in the allotted Link URL

space. Click the Next button to continue.

8. Step 4 is where you select which Profiles you want to be able to see the DreamTeam tab. Click

the Next button to continue.

9. Step 5 is where you select which Custom App you want to display the DreamTeam tab on.

10. Click the Save button at the bottom when you are done.

11. Once you have completed creating the DreamTeam tab, simply click on the DreamTeam tab at

the top of the screen to launch the application.
