Back on the Uninstall or change a program screen, click F5 to refresh. The only component left should be Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client. Highlight it and click Uninstall to remove it. If the following prompt appears, click Yes to remove it You should see this screen Your Windows security may also pop up. Click Yes to remove SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client

Back on the Uninstall or change a program, all SQL components should now be gone. You can close this screen Browse to your C: drive and go to Program Files (X86) and rename the Microsoft SQL Server folder to Microsoft SQL Server- old Please note: If this is a 32-bit machine, use Program Files instead of Program Files (x86) Load your Church Windows CD (version 16.13.2 or 17.14.0) and browse to the Install folder

In the Install folder, find the InstallSQLforCW.exe file and run it as administrator If user account control comes up, click Yes to continue The Install SQL Server window should appear – click Install to continue.

A Command window will appear and other windows will appear over it. The first pops up and goes away very quickly. The second is the Setup Support Files window. The third window is Installation Progress and you need to watch this screen closely to see that the green progress indicator goes all the way to the right (it will usually say Running SQL Server discovery as it nears the end). Once this install completes, SQL 2008 R2 has been successfully reinstalled
