How to set-up Text NotificationsYou can opt-in to receive Text Notifications for time-sensitive Academic Alerts and/or Appointment Reminders. We recommend opting-in to both.
Click the Student Information link on the gold menu bar in MyUI
Scroll down to MY UIOWA section on the bottom left of the page then click the My Text Notifications link.
Select whether you want to receive Text Notifications for time-sensitive
Academic Alerts and/orAppointment Reminders.
Add your mobile phoneinformation and then click
Update Text Notifications.
