How  to  Register  for  the  New  High  Sierra  Meadows  website    

Click  this  link  to  open  your  Internet  Browser  and  auto-­‐connect  to  the  new  site  –

The  Home  page  will  open  to  this  image  you  see  below:  

 

 

Click  on  the  Menu  Icon  in  the  upper  right  corner  of  the  page  (See  Red  Arrow)  

Clicking  the  Menu  Icon  will  open  up  the  Topics  on  the  left  side  of  the  page.  

Click  on  the  word  FORUM  (see  Red  Arrow  below)…  

 

…which  will  open  the  Forum  Submenu  shown  here  –  Click  on  “Register  Account”.  

 

You  will  see  this  form  where  you  will  type  in  your  preferred  Username  (which  can  be  the  same  Username  from  the  old  website)  .Also  type  in  your  personal  email  address  –  a  link  will  be  emailed  to  this  address  for  the  next  step.  Click  on  the  Register  button  see  Green  Arrow.  

   

Immediately  after  clicking  the  Register  button  –  the  webpage  will  change  to  this  image  –  IGNORE  THIS  FOR  NOW!!!!!

Now  -­‐  open  another  window  or  tab  on  your  Internet  Browser  and  login  to  your  personal  Email  Account  –  you  will  have  a  message  from  WORDPRESS  titled  HIGH  SEIRRA  PROPERTY  OWNERS  ASSOCIATION.  Open  this  message.  It  should  look  something  like  this  -­‐

Click  on  the  embedded  link  shown  by  the  Red  Arrow.  The  link  will  take  you  back  to  the  HSM  Website  in  another  browser  window.  The  FrogPond  image  will  appear  asking  you  to  ENTER  YOUR  NEW  PASSWORD  –  it  can  be  the  same  one  you  used  with  the  old  website  if  you  wish!  DO  NOT  USE  OR  GET  CONFUSED  BY  THE  GOBBLEDEGOOK  SYSTEM  GENERATED  PASSWORD  –  JUST  TYPE  YOUR  PASSWORD  OVER  THAT  ONE.  CLEAR  THE  FAKE  PASSWORD  BY  DELETING  

EITHER  BY  BACKSPACING  OR  ERASING  WITH  YOUR  MOUSE.

After  clicking  the  RESET  PASSWORD  link  –  the  page  should  change  to  this  –    

Click  on  the  link  to  LOG  IN  

 

 

The  window/screen  will  refresh  into  a  new  screen/window  telling  you  that  your  password  has  been  reset  and  give  you  a  log  in  opportunity.  Type  in  your  Username  and  your  password.  Click  the  Log  In  Button  shown  by  the  Green  Arrow.

You  have  now  logged  in  –  if  your  Internet  Browser  asks  if  you  want  to  save  the  password  –  say  yes.  

You  will  know  you  are  logged  in  if  the  Home  Screen  shows  the  black  bar  across  the  top.  The  Letter  on  the  far  right  is  the  first  letter  of  your  Username  –  you  can  change  it  to  a  photo  later.  

 

Now  click  on  the  three  line  Menu  Icon  again  and  go  back  to  Forums.  

Type  in  your  username  

Type  in  your  Password

Open  up  one  of  the  Discussions  -­‐  

 

Open  up  whatever  topic  catches  your  interest  –  

 

To  enter  your  reply  scroll  to  the  bottom  of  the  page  for  the  Text  Message  Entry  Box  –

 

Don’t  worry  about  Tags  and  such  –  just  click  Submit  to  have  your  message  posted.  

 

Congratulations  –  you  are  now  among  your  friends  at  High  Sierra  Meadows!
