Use Quality Cushioning Materials

because they were not cushioned properly. When packing

excellent cushioning materials.

Wrap items in bubble wrap and secure it with tape. But,

avoid using too much tape as you might have a hard time

removing it when you start unpacking. Just use enough

tape to secure the bubble wrap.

Stuff vases, bowls, glasses, and stemware with crumpled

paper. It will provide pressure from within. If you don’t have enough paper, you can also use tissue

paper. When packing plates, place a layer of bubble wrap in between the plates you stack.

Use New Moving Boxes

surrounded with 2 to 3 inches of packing material in all sides of the moving box to provide more

cushion.

It’s best to place heavier items at the bottom to avoid lighter items from being shattered or

crushed as you move.

Place Smaller Boxes within Larger Moving Boxes

For items that are extra fragile (or for items that

you really cherish), pack them in smaller moving

boxes. After that, place the smaller boxes in a

much larger moving box. This will provide

another layer of protection to keep your extra

cherished belongings safe while it’s transported

to your new home. This will also lessen the

other boxes.

Make sure that the boxes are securely taped.
