What is a Learning Record Store? It is a new learning focused database that allows you to do TWO key things:
1. Get real Formative and Summative Evaluation Data - 1,000’s activities per user, per course vs. 5 currently with your LMS and SCORM
2. Allows you to share your learning data with the rest of the enterprise - multiple audiences
What is a Learning Record Store? The LRS is powered by xAPI, a simple data format that replaces SCORM, but is a much more robust and easy to work with - think of it as like adding Google Analytics to your learning Anything that is digital and connected can report xAPI activity data to an LRS
