For “mousakas” we need

1kg eggplants, 1,5 kg potatoes, 1 kg minced beef, 1-2 medium onions (chopped), 2 big tomatoes (peeled and grated), olive oil, parsley, salt, pepper, some grated cheese and bread crumbs

For the cream sauce (BECHAMEL) we need

• 1 litter of milk, • 6 spoonfuls butter, • 9 spoonfuls corn flour,• 2 spoonfuls cheese. • the yolk of an egg
