1. Plug your memory card into the card reader.

2. Plug your card reader into the computer’s usb port.

6. Right click on the photo you wish to add to your powerpoint, then choose COPY.

7. Open power point and choose the blank presentation.

8. Title the first page:

All About Me

Your name

9. Add a new slide10. Then press the Ctrl button and the V button at the same time on your keyboard. This will paste the photo you previously copied.

The photo should appear on the slide.Sometimes the photos appear and they don’t fit on the powerpoint.

It is important that the photo is presented in the best quality possible.

It should be as large as possible without DISTORTING the photo.

To keep the photo from distorting, select the photo then move your mouse to the top right corner. Expand the photo to touch the top of the slide as well as the bottom.

Do not move the bullets on the sides of the photo. This will distort your photo (aka lose points).

All photos should be enlarged to the slide’s largest capability without distorting the photo.

Since this photo is Portrait Style (vertical) you will have negative space on each side.

When you have a Landscape Photo (horizontal), it could fit the entire slide or still have some negative space on the edges.

Only move the corner bullets to enlarge the photo. Do not move the middle bullets.

If your photo is distorted then you did not follow directions.

There are several other ways to execute a correct Photography powerpoint.

You can and will most likely have to problem solve.

For example:

Instead of right clicking on the photo then hitting Copy

YOU COULD

Go to the Powerpoint: Insert> Photo and plug the photo in the slide that way.

YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO ADJUST THE PHOTO TO FIT THE SLIDE WITHOUT DISTORTING IT!

Objective:

Choose the top 20 photos from your All About Me homework. Do not change anything about the photos…no filters or adjustments!

Place each photo on it’s own slide in the powerpoint.

Do not use any animations or fancy options!

Keep it plain and simple so your photos shine!
