Usually, the metal ring and the surface of brush wire need to do high quality plating surface handling, also most of covering layer is precious metal which primarily meet good conduction, wear-resistant, corrosion resistant performance of slip ring.   Slip ring is mostly used in civilian field, many of them are high technology and high demand applications, this kind of slip ring should always work continuously under high temperature, shock, high speed rotation conditions and so on. In such case, slipring should satisfy with high performance demand, also supplier must take advantage of test result to prove reliable operation of slip ring in special environment. For example, you can make different test under various temperature and working speed for slip ring, then the difference of temperature and working speed could lead to voltage signal and noise change. Through the test proof that the increasing of working speed and temperature will be result in greater voltage signal noise in vacuum condition . Even if temperature could be from -20℃--+80℃ and working speed rise to 1.2m/s, the SNR is still greater than 278/1, herewith we can arrive at a conclusion that, the temperature and working speed of slip ring do not has much impact to electrical signal transmission, they basically can be applied in the same environment.
