How to install Spring Framework in Eclipse Step1: Download Spring Framework http://www.springsource.org/download Click the “Download” and save it to your pc, in my case, I save it to the folder C:/Spring. Step2: Unzip the spring-framework-3.1.1.RELEASEfiles ( you may have different version name), you should see Open the “dist” folder, you show see all the spring frameword .jar files ( in my case, there are 21 .jar files ) are under the “dist” folder which we will add it later in to the project

  • How to install Spring Framework in Eclipse

    Step1:

    Download Spring Framework

    Step2:

    Unzip the spring-framework-3.1.1.RELEASE files ( you may have different version name), you should

    Download Apache Commons logging jar file.

    To make the Spring Framework work, you also need to download Apache Commons logging jar file.

    Click the Download and save it to your pc, in my case, I save it to the folder C:/Spring.

    Step4:

    Unzip the commons-logging-1.1.1 files (you may have different version name), you should see

    The commons-logging-1.1.1.jar which we will add it later in to the project

    After you download these 4 steps, now, we can Install Spring Framework into the project

    ( if you do not have eclipse installed, you can download from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/, you

    Open your eclipse, Go to FileNewProject

    Select Java Project and click Next

    Type the project name such as SpringDemo and click Finish

  • Right click SpringDemo project, open Properties , then select Java Build Path

    Click Add Library

    Click Next,

  • then, click User Libraries , then click New

    to add your library name, such as spring

    Click ok

    Click add JARS, navigate your spring-framework-3.1.1.RELEASE folder, select all jar files and add

    them to

  • Click ok

    Then select spring and click Add JARs to add the commons-logging-1.1.1.jar

    You show see the all jars has been added in your user library spring

  • Click ok , click Finish, click OK

  • Now you have added all the Spring Framework stuff under your SpringDemo project, you are ready to

    go
