With the ever rising cost of cable television, many people are switching over to satellite services for their video programming. We have been provid-ing satellite systems and local services to the Butte area and southwest Montana since 1989.
We sell, service, and install Dish Network, DIRECTV, Wild Blue, and Exceed satellite services. Exceed is a new internet service that is 50 times faster than Dial up and approximately 3 times faster than Wild Blue or Hughes Net satellite service. Recovery Act Funds for rural internet access are available for many lo-cations in this area and we encourage you to call us to see if your address qualifies for the service. If you do qualify then the normal $149.00 installation fee is waived and you pay only $39.99 per month instead of the normal price of $49.99 plus a $9.99 leasing fee per month. Speeds of up to 5Mbps are available.
We also sell Bridgemax and Centurylink internet and phone service. Bundling voice, data and video services through Eagles usually saves our customer significant amounts of money compared to their existing services, please call us for details.
Commercial satellite system specials are very much like our residential specials, i.e. up to six TVs hooked up for qualifying customers free of charge for both the equipment and installation. Commercial pro-gramming costs start at $32.00 a month for both
public and private accounts. Having Television news and entertainment available in your business for your waiting customers always seems to make the wait shorter and a more pleasant experience.
When a customer first decides to find out details about satellite, the wide variety of programming and equipment options may seem confusing. We help to customize equipment and programming that is exactly right for each of our customers’ needs. We will ask all the right questions.
DO YOU HAVE HIGH DEFINITION OR STANDARD TVS OR A COMBINATION OF BOTH?We can install three HD receivers and three stan-dard TVs, for a total of six receivers, free for quali-fying customers. No up-front cost. No other pro-gramming providers offer this.
DO YOU WANT TO WATCH YOUR FAVORITE PRO-GRAMS AT YOU LEISURE?If so, a DVR will help you do that. We offer DVR’s for two TV’s for only $6 per month service fee. This is the least expensive DVR fee in the industry.
DO YOU TRAVEL A LOT AND WANT THE ABILITY TO WATCH YOUR LOCAL AND OTHER CHANNELS YOU SUBSCRIBE TO , ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, USING YOUR COMPUTER OR MOBIL DEVICE?New customers can receive a SLING BOX for only $35.00, a device that we attach to your MPEG-4 receiver that allows you to do exactly that. No
other provider can deliver 100 percent of your paid programming worldwide.
Another advan-tage of satellite TV is the large amount of sports packages avail-able at very reasonable prices. These are available for Baseball, Basket Ball, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Cricket and every kind of sports pay per view event out there.
Dish offers over 240 channels in 29 foreign lan-guages including Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Ger-man, Vietnamese and many others.
Do you want a choice of five different packages for under $50, starting at just $19.99 per month?Dish can do that and no other programming pro-vider does.
When you have questions about anything satellite, whether it be about billing, programming pack-ages, equipment upgrades, service, cabin and RV systems, please call Eagle Sa.tellite. We take pride in our work and we want your business. Don’t dial a 800 number, Shop Locally and call 406-782-0674.H

HistoryThe mission of the URA, since its inception, has been to preserve and pro-mote the cultural resources of the district while eliminating blight and promoting economic development and an increased tax base. Pre-arrangement, the thoughtful decisionToday, more people are recogniz-ing that planning a funeral in ad-vance of need demonstrates love and consideration toward their family members. It is a thoughtful decision that reduced the stress of indecision and uncertainty when death occurs. Why do people pre-arrange a funeral service for themselves or a family member? There are many good reasons. Some plan ahead because there will be no one who is capable of making responsible decisions. Others have definite preferences concerning their funeral service, and they want their families to be informed and involved in those decisions. Many people pre-arrange because they like the peace of mind know-ing there will be adequate funds to cover funeral expenses. Also pre-payment can provide real benefits when you are applying for Medic-aid in the U.S.
Most importantly, pre-arrangement guarantees that rational decisions can be made ahead of time without the usual ur-gencies when death takes place. What steps are involved? After you determine your funeral prefer-ences, we will explain your options and guide you in establishing your own plans. You should find the advice of your family, clergy, and your funeral director especial-ly helpful when considering the options. We will record certain vital information and gather documents for the required forms.Next, you can select a casket, burial vault, and other merchandise associated with the services. Finally, you may pay for the services and merchandise ahead of time through our funding program. What will the pre-arranged funeral service cost? The cost is a matter of your choice.Funding the pre-arranged service is a choice most people make to ease pos-sible financial pressures on their fam-ily. Pre-funding allows you to pay for the funeral service at current prices. As your plan grows over time, it offsets inflation and should provide adequate funds for the future cost of the funeral.
Pre-Planning advan-tagesI ncreasing DeathBenefitsReduce the im-pact of inflation, which would otherwise increase the cost of your funeral. How is Pre-Planning Done? Our funeral home staff member will meet with you at a time that is convenient, and assist you in recording your wishes. You choose everything you want for your fu-neral; the type of funeral service, casket, burial vault, music, and flowers. Impor-tant obituary information will be record-ed. Once you have made your selections, you will learn the payment options avail-able to you. A record of your selections will be kept on file at the funeral home until needed. What is Pre-Financing?Pre-Financing is the act of setting aside funds in funeral trust accounts or funeral insurance products. For your security and by regulation, all monies are deposited into these accounts and do not remain in the funeral home’s operating account. If not irrevocable, trust accounts can be withdrawn if the family elects to cancel the pre-arrangement. Insurance prod-ucts can be cancelled as well with return of the surrender value if after 30 days if not irrevocable.
Pre-Funding OPtiOnsHow do you Pre-Pay for a Funeral? You may select one of two ways to pre-pay for a funeral. The first method is to make payment in full. The second method is to make peri-odic payments. How is Pre-Funding Done? Our funeral home staff member will meet with you at a time that is convenient, and assist you in recording your wishes. You choose everything you want for your fu-neral: the type of funeral service, casket, burial vault or urn and music. Important obituary information will be recorded. Once you have made your selections, you will learn the payment options avail-able to you. A record of your selections will be kept on file at the funeral home until needed.

The Dangers of Secondhand Smoke in Living EnvironmentsSecondhand smoke - the smoke that comes from a lighted tobacco product or from a person who is smoking tobacco - contains more than 4,000 chemicals. Of these chemicals, 11 are known cancer-causing poisons and 250 are know tox-ins. the 2006 U.S. Surgeon General’s Report, The Health Consequences of Involuntary Exposure to Tobacco Smoke (available online at http://www.sur-geongeneral.gov/library/secondhandsmoke/), con-cluded that there is no risk-free level of secondhand smoke, and the only way to protect people from the dangers of secondhand smoke is to eliminate the smoke exposure.
The U.S. Centers for Dis-ease Control (CDC) and the U.S. Surgeon General have created a guide, titled Secondhand Smoke: What it Means to You (http://www.surgeongeneral.gov/library/secondhandsmoke/secondhandsmoke.pdf ), that summarizes the 2006 Surgeon General’s Re-port and explains how people can take action to improve their health. the CDC and Surgeon Gen-eral have also created a factsheet, titled Second-hand Smoke is Toxic and Poisonous (http://www.surgeongeneral.gov/library/secondhandsmoke/factsheets/factsheet9.html), outlining the dan-gerous chemical components in secondhand smoke.
A minimum of 38,000 and up to 65,000 deaths occur each year in the U.S. as a result of diseases caused by exposure to secondhand smoke. Thou-sands of other people in the U.S. suffer from con-ditions caused by or made worse by secondhand smoke.
As many as 175 Montanans die annually from ex-posure to secondhand tobacco smoke.
With the passage of Montana’s Clean Indoor Act
in 2005 and full implementation in October of 2009 all workplaces and public places are now required to be smokefree.
People of all ages and backgrounds can be af-fected by secondhand smoke. But vulnerable populations, such as senior citizens and children, are at increased risk from health problems such as heart attack in seniors and slow lung growth in children. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control
recommends anyone with heart-related diseases avoid any exposure to second-hand smoke.
Why are Smokefree Living Environments so Important?Secondhand smoke knows no boundaries. While 85%of Montana households control their exposure by not permitting smoking in-side the home, residents in multi-unit housing cannot control their exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke if their neighbors are smok-ing. Smokefree policies en-sure that residents in multi-unit housing households
are not exposed.
According to the 2008 Montana Adult Tobacco Survey:Approximately 18% of Montanans rent theirhome.
Among renters, an estimated 48,000 live in an apartmentorduplexandoverone-third(36%)ofrespondents living in multi-unit housing also had children 17 years or younger living with them. Lessthan20%ofMontananslivinginmulti-unithousing are protected by a smokefree policy set by their landlord.
Of Montana multi-unit renters who do not have a smokefree policy in their building or complex, themajority(85%)wereinfavoroftheirlandlordsadopting a smokefree policy.
Low-income Montanans with rent-assisted hous-
ing are at particular risk since their housing op-tions may be limited.
Ventilation and air purifiers cannot end the harm caused by expo-sure to secondhand smoke. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers has commented on the need to eliminate smoking rather than try to ventilate it stating that “the only means of ef-fectively eliminating health risk associated with indoor exposure is to ban smoking activity.”
Exposure to secondhand smoke in multi-unit housing complexes poses a public health prob-lem because the smoke from one unit can enter other units. The only way to eliminate this expo-sure to secondhand smoke in multi-unit housing complexes is to have a comprehensive smokefree policy.
Exposure to secondhandsmoke increases the risk of
health problems such as:
• Heartdisease,heartattacks,and increasedheartrate• Bronchitisandpneumonia• Burningeyesandthroat• Earinfections• Nosebleeds• Increasedbloodpressure• Frequencyandseverityofasthma• Headaches• SuddenInfantDeathSyndrome (SIDS)• Lowbirthweightandpre-term babies• Lungcancer• Emphysema

SPECIALPURCHASE!
Is the best way to save money on new home appliances buying the most inexpensive models? No, not necessarily. Buying an inexpensive model may save you money in the beginning but it could cost you in the long run. Three key components to consider when buying new appliances are: the initial cost, cost of repairs and maintenance. and operating costs.
Today’s manufactures are designing appliances to meet high energy standards. These standards are set by the energy department but some of today’s top appliance brands are beating the efficiency standards and saving you more money over the lifetime of your purchase. Energy Star is a government back symbol for energy efficiency. The Energy Star label makes it easy to recognize appliances that are the highest in energy savings.
Saving natural resources is something that we should all be concerned with. By buying some of today’s newly designed appliances, we are saving our natural resources as well as saving money. New washing machines onaverageuse50%lessenergyand40%lesswater.Thismeanssavingand average of 7,000 gallons pf water per year per household.
New washing machines with advances in technology typically have a higher initial cost, however the savings over the lifetime of the product really adds up. Energy Star qualified wash machines can save you up to
$130 a year on water and energy costs. These products are also designed to save the consumer in other ways.
1. Energy Star wash machines are designed to remove more moisture from clothes. This saves the consumer money because there is less dry time required, saving you time and money.
2. Clothing washed in these new machines last longer because the washing cycle is gentler with specially designed agitation systems.
3. Energy Star washers use less laundry detergent because less water is required to wash clothes.
These values add up over time so remember when looking for that new washer to consider what you will save over the long run as opposed to just the initial costs.
To see a complete line of these innovative washers visit Steele’s and speak to one of their staff to see what model best fits your needs.
