How to download and watch Catholic Studies lectures with iTunes U

*Requires internet access and iTunes software. iTunes is a music software program by Apple, is compatible with Macs and PCs, and can be downloaded for free at www.apple.com/itunes.

1. Go to www.fairfield.edu/itunesu. Your internet browser will automatically open up your iTunes program and bring you directly to the Fairfield University iTunes U home page.

2. Click “Lectures and Special Programs”

3. Click “Catholic Studies”

4. Click on the tabs indicating academic years to browse all lectures currently available on iTunes U. Click “Get” to download a lecture to your iTunes. It will appear in the “Downloads” folder of your iTunes sidebar.

5. When the lecture is finished downloading, it will appear in the “iTunes U” folder of your iTunes sidebar. Double-click on the icon of the lecture to play it.

6. The same process can be followed to download lectures directly to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Just open www.fairfield.edu/itunesu on your iPhone/iPad/iPod internet browser and follow the steps from there. Alternately, if you download the lectures to your main computer or laptop, you can connect your mobile device to that machine via usb cable (the same way you would to charge the device or transfer music) and drag and drop the lecture onto your device.
