Q: My Macbook is set for Mirroring Mode. However, when I start my Powerpoint Slide Show, the image is still
flickering on the projector. How do I fix this problem?
A: Take your Macbook out of Mirroring Mode, and change the resolution of your Macbook Pro in
extended mode (Follow the slides entitled “How To Project In Extended Mode”). Once you do this,
you can go back into mirroring mode and the image will display will no issues.
Q: If I change the resolution on my Macbook to display the image in 1080p, will I have to do this every time I
connect my laptop to the system?
A: No. Once you change the resolution to 1080p. You will not have to change it again. Your computer
will automatically save this setting.
Q: My Macbook is set for Mirroring Mode. When I use the program Keynote to display my slides, it is not
displaying the slides in Presentation Mode. How do I fix this?
A: Take your Macbook out of Mirroring Mode, and change it to extended mode (Uncheck the “Mirroring
Display” box located under the “Arrangement Tab” in “Displays” options). This will allow you to use
Presentation Mode in Keynote.
